Got an area in your home that needs to make a statement? If a mural is something you’ve always wanted, I can help.

You may ask…why a Mural Artist?

Murals bring beauty to our neighborhoods, urban walls and our favorite places. The colors, the content and the visual effect of a larger-than-life picture, attracts attention to public spaces where the art it accessible to everyone, no matter who you are.

Mural Artist

Laura Dunbar loves to paint! Her canvas can be anything from a building wall, barn doors, furniture, skateboards to truck tailgates. It’s simply a matter of preference!

Fresco paintings…..

otherwise known as MURALS, have been traced back as far as 30,000 BC. They were discovered in southern France on the walls of caves. Other examples were found in Egyptian tomb paintings, Minoan palaces and among the ancient city of Pompeii.

What draws Laura to murals is what murals bring to a space. The colors, movement, and feelings murals create, give a memorable experience to an area that could otherwise be insignificant and go unnoticed.

Growing up Laura’s parents brought her and her siblings to museums frequently and they spent many hours walking through art galleries over summer vacations in Cape Cod with their Nana. Viewing art was a large part of Laura’s childhood. It was not until Laura was older, she realized these opportunities and exposures were not available to everyone.

This is where murals come in. Murals allow art to be accessible to everyone, which is how Laura believes art should be. Laura hopes her murals spark an interest in people from all backgrounds.
